PDFAbstract
[Abstract] Objective To analyze the application value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) multi-mode scanning in the diagnosis of breast non-mass-like enhancement (NMLE)lesions. Methods A total of 136 patients with breast NMLE lesions confirmed by surgery pathology who underwent MRI multi-mode scanning in the hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The lesion distribution features, internal enhancement mode, types of timeintensity curve (TIC) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value of MRI findings in patients with benign and malignant lesions were recorded and compared. Results There were 56 cases (65.12%) with malignant lesions and 30 cases (34.88%) with benign lesions confirmed by surgery pathology. The occurrence rate of segmental distribution and annular cluster-like enhancement were was relatively higher in malignant lesions, while the occurrence rate of diffuse distribution was higher in benign lesions. ADC values in malignant lesion group were significantly lower than those in benign lesion group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in TIC types between benign and malignant lesions of breast NMLE (P>0.05). Conclusion The analysis of lesion distribution features, internal enhancement types and ADC values by MRI multi-mode scanning can effectively identify the benign and malignant lesions of breast NMLE.
