PDFAbstract
Objective To observe the effect of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma. Methods The clinical data of 72 patients with severe bronchial asthma were selected as the research object. According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, 36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drugs, and the observation group was treated with conventional drugs plus noninvasive positive pressure ventilation. The clinical effect of two groups were compared. Results The, pH, SaO2, PaO2, 24h, and PaCO2 were significantly lower in the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The respiratory rate and heart rate were significantly lower in the two groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the control group was 97.2%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma, the clinical effect is satisfactory, it is worth promoting.
