CT Diagnosis of Primary Gallbladder Carcinoma (Report of 12 Cases)

PDFAbstract
Objective To improve the exactitude of CT diagnostic method of gallbladder carcinoma. Methods The CT and clinical data of 12 cases of gallbladder carcinoma which confirmed by operation and pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results The major CT findings were classified as follows: mass 5 cases; thickened wall 4 cases; intraluminal nodules 3 cases.Associated features included direct hepatic invasion 6 cases; bile duct dilatation 6 cases and enlarged lymph mode 3 cases. Conclusion Spiral CT had important value in the diagnosis and preoperative staging of gallbladder carcinoma.
