Analysis of Screening Results of Congenital Hypothyroidism in Premature Infants in Shunde

PDFAbstract
Objective To analyze the results of screening of infants with congenital hypothyroidism in Shunde. Methods 13250 cases of neonatal disease screening heel blood samples were collected from January 2012 to August 2016 in our hospital. Blood samples were collected and analyzed by electrochemiluminescence method. The parameters of thyroid hormone (TSH) diagnosis. Results In this study, 13250 neonates were screened and 480 suspicious children were diagnosed. The incidence rate was 0.34%. There were 22 males and 23 females, including 38 rural children, 7 cases, the proportion of rural children than the city, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The serum T3, T4, TSH reached the normal range in all the patients (50.34 ± 2.51) d. Conclusion The incidence of congenital hypothyroidism in preterm infants in Shunde is higher than that of the national average, and early treatment with levothyroxine tablets has achieved satisfactory clinical results.Conclusion:The incidence of congenital hypothyroidism in preterm infants in Shunde is higher than that of the national average, and early treatment with levothyroxine tablets has achieved satisfactory clinical results.
