The Clinical Value of Gem Spectrum CT Small Bowel Radiography in Small Bowel Diseases

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of gem spectrum CT small bowel radiography in the diagnosis of small bowel diseases. Methods 56 cases of small intestinal lesions diagnosed by pathology in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2017 were selected and all of them were examined by gem spectrum CT small bowel radiography and analyzed the imaging findings. Results 56 cases of small intestinal lesions were successfully completed with CT examination, including 39 cases of intestinal inflammatory lesions, 22 cases of adhesion intestinal obstruction, 10 cases of Crohn's disease, 7 cases of mesenteric thrombosis, 17 cases of small intestinal tumor, 9 cases of adenocarcinoma, 5 cases of stromal tumors, and 3 cases of intestinal lymphoma. Conclusion The CT structure of the small intestine, the intestinal wall and the vascular anatomy of the mesentery can be clearly displayed and the better image quality can be obtained by the gem spectrum
