Abstract

Objective To investigate the changes of metabolic indexes in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) combined with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Methods 87 T2DM patients with NAFLD in our hospital were divided into study group, and at the same period another 87 pure T2DM patients were divided into control group. The metabolic indexes in the two groups were observed, and the risk factors of NAFLD combined with T2DM were analyzed. Results The resting heart rate, systolic and diastolic pressure in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and their differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The UA, HbA1c, HCY, ALT and AST in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the HDL-C in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and their differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The risk factors of T2DM combined with NAFLD were TG, ALT and HCY. Conclusion The changes of metabolic levels in patients with T2DM and NAFLD are significant, and the higher levels of HCY, ALT and TG, the higher occurrence of NAFLD.
