Clinical Analysis of 37 Cases of Fungal Esophagitis

Objective To investigate the characteristic of fungal esophagitis in endoscopy and clinical analysis. Methods 37 Cases of patients with fungal esophagitis confirmed by endoscopy from March 2013~January 2015 in our hospital were retrospective analyzed with clinical data. Results 10 case of grade 1, 13 cases of grade 2, 9 case of grade 3 and 5 cases of grade 4 were respectively classed according to Kodsi grading standard. All patients take fluconazole or nystatin for 1or 2 weeks, 30 patients were cured with cure rate of 81.05%. Conclusion Endoscopy was the effective diagnosis moths of fungal esophagitis. Individualized treatment protocols was used to improve the patient's clinical symptoms and the quality of life.
