Research on Post-operative Efficacy of Multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) on Intervention of Carotid Artery Stenosis

PDFAbstract
Objective To observe multi-slice CT,to evaluate clinical efficacy of intervention operation applied on the carotid artery stenosis,and to provide reference for clinical treatment later. Methods Twenty five patients with carotid artery stenosis admitted by the Outpatient Department of the Hospital during the period from January,2013 to March,2014 were selected as research candidates,and hemodynamic parameters of carotid arteries of patients by the application of spiral CT before and after interventional therapy were evaluated and compared. Results The comparisons in stenosis length,mild and severe stenosis,blood pressure (diastolic and systolic blood pressure) of patients in this group before and after interventional therapy satisfied P＜0.05,and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion Multi-slice CT can monitor the length and the degree of stenosis of carotid stenosis in,and it is helpful for clinical judgement on the efficacy,being worthy of clinical application and wide promotion.
