Abstract

Objective To summarize the diagnostic value and clinical characteristics of intracerebral demyelinating pseudotumor(DTP). Methods The clinical data of 15 patients with intracerebral demyelinating pseudotumor from October 2014 to October 2016 were selected as the study subjects to analyze the MRI imaging characteristics. Results Using 1.5 T superconducting MR scanner to obtain MRI images, the lesions of 15 patients were all located in the subcortical leucorrhea region. The lesions were mainly located in the frontal, parietal, lateral ventricle and occipital lobe. Conclusion Most patients with demyelinating pseudotumor in the brain have direct relationship with the clinical manifestations of patients. Intracerebral demyelinating pseudotumors usually do not involve the cerebral cortex and have no epileptic symptoms. Their clinical symptoms are different from those of gliomas.
