Abstract

Objective To compare the diagnostic value of PET/CT and MRI in the diagnosis of breast cancer. Methods A total of 62 cases of patients with suspected breast cancer were examined by PET/CT and MRI, the Se, Sp, Ac, +PV, -PV were compared. Results A total of 62 cases of suspected breast cancer were diagnosed as breast cancer in 50 cases and benign breast lesions in 12 cases by operation and pathological examination, with 50 cases of breast cancer in 18 patients with axillary lymph node metastasis. The Sp, Ac by PRT/CT were higher than MRI(P<0.05). There had no significant difference on the Se, +PV, -PV(P>0.05). The Se, -PV research on 100.00%, with similarity of Sp, Ac, +PV for the two methods(P>0.05). Conclusion The specificity and accuracy of PET/CT in diagnosis of breast cancer is higher, which is worthy of clinical recommendation.
