Ileocecal Valve Prolapse CT Performance

PDFAbstract
Objective To analyze the CT manifestations and diagnostic criteria 16 cases of ileocecal valve prolapse. Materials and Methods A retrospective analysis of colonoscopy and surgery confirmed 16 cases of the ileocecal valve prolapse CT manifestations. Results All patients showed CT ileocecal mucosa under a lot of fat density. 4 cases of irregular soft tissue mass; 11 cases displayed irregular eccentric thickening of the intestinal wall; seven cases displayed a more uniform thickening of the intestinal wall, ileal mucosa visible crescent sign or set into a ring formation signs, including three cases see eccentric or peripheral bubbles shadow. Conclusion The ileocecal valve prolapse has its characteristic CT findings, combined with colonoscopy and clinical analysis, improve diagnostic accuracy.
