The Differential Diagnostic Value of Malignant Gastric Tumor by 64-slice Spiral CT

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the differential diagnosis value of gastric cancer, gastric lymphoma, gastric malignant stromal tumor by 64-slice spiral CT. Methods A total of36 patients with malignant gastric tumor which confirmed by operation and pathology including 12 cases of gastric cancer, 12 cases of lymphoma, 12 cases of malignant stromal tumor were analyzed retrospectively in order to explore their own specific image representation. Results Gastric mucosal infiltration is more than lymphoma and malignant stromal tumor., malignant stromal tumors were larger in diameter, lymphomas showed mild enhancement, while gastric cancer and malignant stromal tumors showed homogeneous or heterogeneous enhancement. The lymphomas of the abdominal cavity were the largest, followed by gastric cancer and the least of malignant stromal tumors.. Conclusion The 64 slice CT is of high value in the differential diagnosis of gastric cancer, lymphoma and malignant stromal tumors.
