PDFAbstract
Objective To investigate the application value of CT in preoperative staging of gastric cancer. Methods The clinical data of 50 patients with advanced gastric cancer confirmed by operation and pathology who were treated in our hospital during June 2014 - March 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. All patients underwent energy spectrum CT scan and the results were compared with the pathological results to explore the application value of energy spectrum CT in preoperative staging of gastric cancer. Results Energy spectrum CT showed that lesions in 50 cases of gastric cancer patients distributed in cardia in 25 cases, in fundus of stomach in 18 cases and in antrum in 7 cases. The numbers of cases with lowly, moderately and highly differentiated adenocarcinoma were 31, 18 and 1 case, respectively. Histopathological examination showed that the percentages of stage T1, T2, T3 and T4 in preoperative T stage were 8.00%, 18.00%, 52.00% and 22.00%, respectively. Conclusion Energy spectrum CT is of high application value in the preoperative staging of gastric cancer. It can provide a scientific basis for the timely and reasonable treatment of patients with gastric cancer.
