Value of Multi Slice CT in Diagnosis of Bronchial Foreign Bodies in Children*

Objective Comparative analysis of the diagnosis value of multi slice CT in the diagnosis of foreign bodies in children with bronchiolitis. Methods 76 children who were confirmed by fiberbronchoscope in our hospital were chosen, X-ray examination and 16 slice spiral CT examination were performed respectively, diagnosis accuracy of two methods were compared. Results The accordance rate of 16 slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of middle left bronchus, bronchus and right main bronchus were 100%, The direct indication of tracheal foreign body accounted for 88.1%, The indirect signs accounted for 11.9%; Clinical X-ray diagnosis coincidence rate was 85.5%, The direct signs accounted for 18.4%, The indirect signs accounted for 81.6%.the diagnosis rates of spiral CT were obviously higher than the X-ray, The difference had statistically significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion Multi slice CT has high value in the diagnosis of bronchial foreign bodies in children.
