PDFAbstract
Objective To comparatively analyze the relationship between CT and ultrasonic features of ovarian cancer and postoperative pathological examination results. Methods 79 patients with suspected ovarian cancer who were admitted to the hospital from August 2016 to July 2018 were selected as subjects. All patients underwent surgery, and they underwent CT and ultrasound examination before surgery. The results were comparatively compared with those of postoperative pathological examination results. The diagnostic efficiency of CT and ultrasound for ovarian cancer was evaluated. Results Postoperative pathological examination showed that there were 64 cases with ovarian cancer in the 79 patients. The Ultrasound showed that tumor of ovarian cancer was large, with strong echo and protuberance on the capsule wall. The major performance of peripheral and internal blood flow was high speed and low resistance. The lesions of CT images were mainly on cystic and solid status. The mass was large, the shape was irregular, and the contour was blurred. The capsule wall and space were unevenly distributed. The density was even or uneven. There was calcification in some lesions. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasound for diagnosis of ovarian cancer were 84.38%, 66.67% and 81.01%,respectively. The above 3 indexes of CT were 93.75%, 86.67% and 92.41%, respectively. The accuracy of CT was higher than that of ultrasound (χ2=4.448, P<0.05). Conclusion Both CT and ultrasound are of certain diagnostic value for ovarian cancer. However, the display effect of CT is better for histological features of ovarian masses, and diagnostic value is relatively higher.
